Beta LaserMike snaps up medical industry accounts
Beta LaserMike has won several significant contracts with medical equipment manufacturers for the production of equipment such as catheters and intra-venous tubing. Beta LaserMike is supplying its latest UltraScan ultrasonic measurement systems which feature "Snap Technology", a patented signal processing software which self-configures its measurement systems. This means that technical staff do not need to be assigned to operate the system, which other competitors' products require. Beta LaserMike continues to refine the capabilities of its ultrasonic measurement systems, with its latest signal processing software extending the ability to measure the thickness of materials down to 25 microns. In addition to improving the signal processing capabilities, Beta LaserMike has introduced other features tailored to meet the growing medical device manufacturing industry, the latest being its line of durable transducers which are designed to withstand the demanding manufacturing environments of these companies.
