Loma slices potato costs at Eurofreez
In Belgium, fries are a national dish and at Belgian company NV Eurofreez, 50,000 tonnes are produced annually at its French Fry factory. The company has recently launched two new production lines for its mashed and specialist potato products, both fitted with Loma's combined metal detector and checkweighing systems. Since Loma's systems have been installed, Eurofreez have received fewer complaints from customers and have achieved greater control over weight management, resulting in significant cost savings. Capable of handling packaged products up to 5kg at speeds of up to 400 parts per minute, Loma's advanced inspection units have enabled Eurofreez to not only put an end to contamination concerns but also slice its production costs and maintenance requirements.
