Malvern extends particle characterisation training via
e-learning

Researchers and engineers can now attend technical seminars without having to travel, thanks to new interactive e-learning tools from Malvern Instruments which deliver a highly varied programme of web-based particle characterisation seminars and training direct to their desktop. E-learning is becoming an increasingly popular solution for meeting training and development needs as pressure on time and budgets affects the availability of many people who would like to attend seminars and training sessions. Malvern’s e-learning initiative means that users can gain all the benefits of attending a seminar in person whilst tailoring the programme to their schedule and focusing on particular areas of interest. The user can choose to participate in the events as they happen, access on demand a recorded presentation, or download presentations for later review. The seminar programme covers a wide range of topics on all aspects of particle characterisation, including training sessions on the application of Malvern’s own range of systems as well as presentations about particle characterisation research being carried out worldwide.
